Flexible Input

Get your tunes to DAC-Z8 via Optical, Coaxial, USB or Bluetooth 5.0 (with aptX HD and LDAC support) for input from a variety of audio sources. You can monitor your input source, quality and volume through the 3-inch LCD screen on the front, with a variety of display options, or use the mobile app to connect your phone for enhanced global control.

Powerful, Precise Output

DAC-Z8 provides a pure focus on performance and accuracy. On the digital side, the DAC is an ESS Sabre flagship ES9038Pro 32 bits D\A converter chip, and its pairs with an XMOS XU316 for maximum precision in audio processing with support for up to DSD512 Native, PCM768KHz@32Bit decoding. In addition, DAC-Z8 has internal low jitter dual clock oscillators for synchronous processing and maximum audio precision.

The eight OPA1612 op amps utilization shunt compensation technology and a low ripple power supply ensure a purer power source and a low distortion preamp signal. The fully balanced architecture ensures that outside noise is eliminated. The end results is excellent performance with headphones ranging from 16-300 ohms impedance.

Dual ES9038Q2M DAC
Two ESS ES9038Q2M DACs are used, and 2 DAC chips = 2 channels for D/A conversion output independently. That equates to effective avoidance of interference between channels, reduction of background noise, better signal-to-noise ratio, and improved dynamic range. The DAC supports DSD512, PCM768@32bit, and MQA decoding.

Master Recording Playback and Decoding
DAC-Z8 supports a wide range of ultra-high resolution audio formats including DSD, PCM, FLAC, APE and MQA.

Low Ripple, High Performance Power
The DAC-Z8 is equipped with a low-noise regulated switching power supply module and several dedicated audio capacitors to provide less ripple and interference. To reduce HF line noise, a choke filter circuit is installed providing cleaner power, less background noise, and clear musical details.

3" LCD Screen with Multifunction Wheel
Equipped with a 3" LCD screen, DAC-Z8 provides a simple but exquisite user interface, as well as intuitive controls for configuring your DAC.

Smart Control App
Android + iPhone/iPad control apps are available for the DAC-Z8 to easily control the key functions of the device.
