This brilliantly designed, superbly powerful and high-performing headphone amp makes the ideal companion to the brand's sublime headphones. HiFIMAN excels at enhancing the headphone listening experience and the EF1000 is no exception. The brand pioneered the use of orthodynamic technology for their drivers, as opposed to the more conventional dynamic technology.
With headphone models as advanced as the SUSVARA and other extremely hard to drive headphones, it is crucial that it is driven by a powerful, high-caliber headphone amplifier. The EF1000 brilliantly answers this demand.
The EF1000 is the SUSVARA's official amplifier, which utilizes a separate power supply design. Its SSRP circuit uses six 6922 vacuum tubes and six pairs of transmitters in parallel. The result is a perfect combination of the beautiful sound from the vacuum tubes and the powerful output of a solid state amp.
The headphone output is 20w, pure Class A. The amplifier output is 50w, pure Class A and 110w, Class A/B. The SRPP circuit uses six 6922 vacuum tubes and six pairs of transmitters in parallel along with a separate power supply design. The EF1000 volume control uses the same relay-based attenuator technology from the SHANGRI-LA. This offers silky smooth response and ultra-low distortion from it's use of dedicated pathways.
