Starfield 3 employs a dual dynamic driver system with a golden combination: it combines the treble extension advantage of the small-sized dynamic driver with the bass advantage of the large-sized dynamic driver, and it has a DLC diamond-like carbon diaphragm that is better suited for treble details. Additionally, the 10mm dynamic driver features a wood dome diaphragm that is ideal for mid-bass timbre.
The 7.8mm miniature dynamic driver features a DLC dome composite diaphragm with a flexible suspension, designed to enhance treble extension and detail retrieval. The flexible suspension also helps reduce distortion across a wide dynamic range while lowering mid-bass resonance. Together, these refinements deliver smoother treble, more natural imaging and timbre, and a richer, more detailed sound.
The Starfield 3’s 10mm bass dynamic driver features an inner-and-outer equal-volume, dual-magnetic circuit design optimized for long-stroke excursion and powerful dynamic response. Compared to conventional coaxial bass drivers, this architecture delivers greater efficiency, improved stability, and lower distortion, resulting in fast, controlled, and impactful bass.
The driver’s wood-dome diaphragm combines excellent rigidity with effective internal damping, supporting smooth high-frequency extension and natural performance through the midrange and crossover regions.
Moondrop uses 3D printing technology to create complex physical filter structures for precise frequency crossover in multi-driver earphones. Their expertise allows for the development of IEMs that achieve superior acoustic measurements, thanks to effective acoustic tube structure designs and compact, high-efficiency power frequency crossover circuits.
Not only can the interchangeable USB-C plug supply 60mW output power, but it also supports a premium second-generation online interactive DSP. It features a newly developed sound card chip with great thrust performance far beyond the standard integrated sound card chip.
