Bloom's Take The Noble Audio Kronos enters the flagship arena with a lavish titanium-Damascus shell and a sound that blends power, poise, and refinement. Its hybrid driver configuration delivers a deep, physical low end with remarkable control, while maintaining a clear sense of separation across the spectrum. Midrange tones lean natural and uncolored, favoring smooth transitions and rich texture over sharp contrast. Treble is crisp and articulate, with just enough air and shimmer to bring out detail without becoming fatiguing. Where Kronos truly excels is spatial presentation. The stage feels tall and immersive with pinpoint imaging, allowing instruments to breathe and occupy their own space with clarity and weight. Its tuning favors cohesion and realism over flash, offering an experience that’s immersive without overwhelming. Noble Kronos feels less like a technical showpiece and more like a mature, deeply listenable statement, crafted for those who value nuance, depth, and long-term enjoyment. Read our full review. |
Inspired by the limited-edition Chronicle IEMs that commemorated Noble's 10th anniversary, the Kronos represents an exciting new chapter in the evolution of their flagship line. Crowned with a titanium Damascus faceplate, the precision-machined titanium shell delivers exceptional structural integrity while remaining lightweight, ensuring perfect comfort for extended listening sessions.
The Noble Audio Kronos features a sophisticated 6-way crossover design that seamlessly blends nine drivers per ear for a rich and expansive sound. Its low-end is powered by both a 7mm and a 10mm dynamic driver, delivering deep, layered bass with natural impact. Two Knowles balanced armature drivers handle the midrange, ensuring clarity and detail, while two additional Knowles BA drivers focus on the high frequencies for crisp, articulate treble.
For the uppermost frequencies, a pair of Sonion electrostatic drivers extends the response with ultra-high resolution and air. Rounding out the configuration, a dual membrane bone conductor driver enhances presence and texture across the spectrum. With an impedance of less than 35 ohms, the Kronos is designed for easy drivability without compromising performance.
